Our involvement covered the complete architectural design and technical development of a comprehensive home extension and loft conversion, from concept design through to planning and Building Regulations approval.
The project included measured surveys, design development, planning submissions and the preparation of detailed construction drawings. The two-storey extension created a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area to the rear of the property, enhanced by two roof lights that maximised natural daylight and strengthened the connection between the interior and garden. At the front of the home, a vaulted ceiling was introduced to create a dramatic architectural feature and improve the sense of space within the existing accommodation. The loft conversion added two well-proportioned bedrooms, increasing the property’s overall capacity while ensuring the new additions integrated seamlessly with the original structure. Careful consideration was given throughout to structural design, energy efficiency, natural light and the overall flow of the home.
